Diablo 4 exploit lets you complete March of the Goblins way faster

Diablo 4’s March of the Goblins event made Treasure Goblins spawn more often. But one area had way too many.

Blizzard launched the event on March 11 at 10 AM PDT – though not for everyone. It introduced six new Goblin variants, each with unique loot.

Players could track their Goblin Reputation at Kyovashad, unlocking rewards as they hunted the pesky loot-hoarders. The event ran across all World Tiers and had exclusive rewards for Torment difficulty. It was a goblin-filled loot fest.

Then, one player discovered a game-breaking farming spot. “It’s insane how the area around Ked Bardu has SO many more goblins than everywhere else,” they shared.

March of the Goblins exploit clears event extremely quick

“I literally just ran around Ked Bardu for an hour and finished the entire goblin event,” they reported.

Other areas paled in comparison: “Everywhere I went I maybe found one goblin in an area bigger than the entire area surrounding Ked Bardu. Then I come back to Ked Bardu… and find a minimum of 3 goblins every lap.”

Why did Ked Bardu suddenly become Goblin Disneyland? Well, it turns out, Blizzard’s own coding is to blame – or thank if you own the VoH expansion.

Expansion content was designed with higher enemy density. More monsters meant more goblins. Nahantu, the new zone, had extra loot caches for expansion owners. These caches had to balance expansion rewards with regular drops. So, the easiest way was to just spawn more goblins.

One developer explained, “There are additional reward caches for expansion owners, along with the chance to cull even more goblins sighted in Nahantu.”

Players quickly took advantage. “I did a few runs and found more goblins in Nahantu than Ked Bardu. Finished in about an hour.”

Another player assured the alternative isn’t awful, though, “Green zones aren’t bad. I do a 30-minute run and get 2-4 per. Just grinding while leveling.”

March of the Goblins was clearly inspired by Diablo 3. But Blizzard may have brought back the wrong feature.
