Destiny 2 Weekly Reset: Everything featured this week

Every Tuesday welcomes a new weekly reset in Destiny 2, seeing the game’s featured content rotate, including the active Nightfall, Eververse Store offerings, and more.

Episode Heresy is here, bringing with it more seasonal content, including new weapons, The Nether activity, and a range of balance changes that look to keep the meta feeling fresh.

Not keeping track of the weekly reset could see you lose out on limited-time rewards, rare Eververse offerings, and even exclusive Exotics from this week’s Dungeon and Raid rotation, so here’s this week’s reset information to make sure you don’t miss out.

What time is the Destiny 2 weekly reset?

The next weekly reset will happen on Tuesday, April 15 at 5 PM UTC.

You’ll want to complete all of the featured content you are interested in before then, as it will rotate out after and may not return for several weeks.

This week’s featured Nightfall is Lake of Shadows, which will remain the featured Nightfall until the next weekly reset.

Each week, a new Nightfall is featured that has different champions, modifiers, and rewards. This Nightfall is featured across Advanced, Expert, Master, and Grandmaster difficulties, with each getting gradually more difficult.

Completing Nightfalls on higher difficulties grants additional rewards, such as the featured Nightfall weapon, Adept weapon rolls, and useful resources like Ascendant Shards.

Weekly Nightfall Modifiers

These are the weekly Nightfall modifiers for Advanced, Expert, Master, and GM, with each affecting how difficult the featured activity is:

Advanced modifiers – 2015 Power Cap

MODIFIER GAMEPLAY EFFECT

Expert modifiers – 2025 Power Cap

In addition to all of the Advanced modifiers, Expert difficulty adds the following:

MODIFIER GAMEPLAY EFFECT

Master modifiers – 2030 Power Cap

In addition to all of the Advanced and Expert modifiers, Master difficulty adds the following:

MODIFIER GAMEPLAY EFFECT

GM modifiers – 2040 Power Cap

MODIFIER GAMEPLAY EFFECT

This week’s Nightfall Weapon is Rake Angle, a Legendary Stasis Glaive, which will remain the featured weapon until the next weekly reset.

The Rake Angle stasis glaive in Destiny 2.

Complete Nightfall runs on any difficulty to potentially earn it as a drop, or focus rolls at Commander Zavala for either 5 Vanguard Engrams and x25,000 Glimmer or 3 Vanguard Engrams and 1 Nightfall Cipher (Adept).

Those wanting to farm a god roll without spending resources will need to complete the featured Nightfall on higher difficulties, as this week’s weapon is much more likely to drop on Master and Grandmaster than it is on Advanced and Expert runs.

This week’s featured dungeons are Spire of the Watcher and Pit of Heresy. These will remain featured until next week when two more dungeons will take their place in the rotation.

This week’s featured raids are the King’s Fall and Garden of Salvation. These will remain featured until next week when two more raids will take their place in the rotation.

Raid challenges

These are this week’s raid challenges, which can be completed to increase your odds of unlocking each of their unique Exotic weapons:

RAID CHALLENGE

This week’s featured Exotic Mission is Presage, giving you the chance to unlock Dead Man’s Tale and several craftable weapons, including Austringer, Drang (Baroque), and CALUS Mini-Tool.

Eververse Bright Dust store: What’s in rotation this week?

This week’s featured Bright Dust items on sale are:

ITEM FOR SALE ITEM TYPE PRICE
(BRIGHT DUST)

The items being sold in the Bright Dust Store this week are:

ITEM FOR SALE ITEM TYPE PRICE
(BRIGHT DUST)

The Eververse Store’s offerings rotate weekly, with it selling players items for Bright Dust that would normally cost Silver. This provides a great opportunity to add some new cosmetics to your account without having to spend any real money.

Many of the items listed above will only enter rotation once or twice a year, so missing out could prove costly if there’s something you want. This is especially true for weapon and armor ornaments, many of which have only been featured once or twice in Destiny’s entire lifetime.

This is the featued co-op mission for this week, as found in The Pale Heart patrol area:

  • Featured Cooperative Focus Mission: Iconoclasm – “Using the Vanguard’s diversion and your fireteam’s resourcefulness, seek out the ritual site where the Witness was created to learn how to destroy it.”

This is the rotation for all Legacy locations, including Neptune, Throne World, Europa, Moon, and Dreaming City:

Neomuna

  • Campaign Mission: First Contact: Find Osiris in the Shadow Legion fleet and sow chaos through their ranks.
  • Partition: Ordnance: Help a Neomuni citizen break through VexNet defenses to upload a virus.
  • Vex Incursion Zone: Ahimsa Park.

Throne World

  • Campaign Mission: The Ghosts: Follow Fynch’s tip to a Hive temple that may contain a clue about how Savathûn stole the Light.

Europa

  • Eclipsed Zone: Asterion Abyss
  • Empire Hunt: The Warrior: Advanced: Defeat Eramis’s military commander, Phylaks, the Warrior.
  • Exo Challenge: Simulation: Agility: Simulated Skill-Set Training: Test your dexterity as you move against the Vex.

That’s all for the latest Destiny 2 weekly reset. Be sure to come back next week, as we’ll update this again with the newest information. In the meantime, check out the best PvE Weapons and PvP Weapons to use right now.
