Destiny 2‘s Judgment Hand Cannon, reissued with new perks, is packing multiple god rolls to chase, but you don’t have long to get them.
The reprised weapon, earned from Rite of the Nine‘s limited-time version of the Prophecy dungeon, will only be available to farm until July 15, when Destiny 2’s Edge of Fate expansion releases.
That being the case, you’ve got a little less than two weeks left to get your hands on the desired rolls for Judgment, which, with the right perks, is currently a top-tier weapon in both PvE and PvP.
Here are the rolls you’ll want to be on the lookout for when farming Prophecy.
Judgment PvE & PvP god rolls – Meta analysis
PvE God Roll |
PvP God Roll |
---|---|
Barrel: Fastdraw HCS |
Barrel: Fastdraw HCS or Hitmark HCS |
Let’s cover PvE first. For barrel and magazine, you’ll want Fastdraw HCS and Flared Magwell. Together, these provide a big boost to reload speed and handling, making Judgement feel snappier.
Where choice comes a-knocking are the main perks. If you’re running a Stasis subclass, Headstone and Paracausal affinity are a fantastic pairing. The latter provides a 20% damage buff to Judgment with any Stasis-element kills, while the former bumps up AoE damage and synergizes with Stasis Aspects & Fragments.
Alternatively, Timed Payload grants a damage buff comparable to Paracausal but without any subclass synergy. Demolitionist is best-in-slot for grenade builds and has the additional benefit of bypassing Judgment’s somewhat sluggish reload speed.
For PvP, you’ve also got options. Namely, in the first perk slot, where you’ve got the choice between Keep Away and Slideshot. Lone Wolf is also in the first column, but we’ve omitted it here as Keep Away’s built-in reload speed increase is too good to ignore.
Likewise, the choice between Opening Shot and Precision Instrument largely comes down to how confident you are when using Hand Cannons. If you’re a marksman with the archetype, Opening Shot is going to provide more bang for your buck, while Precision Instrument is more forgiving of missed crits.
That’s a wrap on the best rolls Judgment has to offer, but be sure to check out everything we know about Edge of Fate and future Destiny 2 expansions.
