Cyberpunk 2077 x Arena Breakout: Infinite crossover officially revealed

CD Projekt Red has officially announced a crossover between Cyberpunk 2077 and the extraction shooter Arena Breakout: Infinite.

Cyberpunk 2077 is back in the spotlight following several major announcements. At Anime Expo 2025, CD Projekt Red confirmed Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 is in production, with a new cast and creative team.

The studio also recently rolled out update 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077, adding vehicle enhancements and photo mode improvements, and continues early development on its sequel, Project Orion.

Now, the popular sci-fi game is teaming up with Arena Breakout: Infinite, a tactical extraction shooter for PC that aims to rival the likes of Escape from Tarkov.

The collaboration was revealed on July 20, 2025, through a teaser trailer titled “Welcome to Night City, Operators,” which was posted to the official Arena Breakout: Infinite YouTube channel and social media platforms.

The short cinematic shows an operator stepping out of a vehicle while wearing V’s Samurai jacket from Cyberpunk 2077. A Cyberpunk-styled car is also briefly shown. While the trailer doesn’t showcase any gameplay, we expect there will be cosmetics and iconic weapons that players will be able to use.

Cyberpunk’s official social media account confirmed the collaboration shortly after the trailer was released. The caption reads: “Welcome to Night City, Operators! Cyberpunk 2077 x Arena Breakout: Infinite is coming soon!”

The collaboration follows the launch of Arena Breakout: Infinite’s closed beta, which introduced players to its extraction-based gameplay and gave us an early glimpse of what we can expect to see when the game leaves early access.
