Activision confirmed that Verdansk would return to Call of Duty: Warzone sometime in the spring of 2025, and while we don’t have an official date yet, new leaks suggest Verdansk is arriving with the launch of Season 3. There are a lot of reasons why Verdansk is a very nostalgic map, but it’s also the birthplace of Warzone’s first weapon metas. As we eagerly await the return of Verdansk, this seems like the perfect opportunity to highlight popular weapons that we’d love to see come back with the iconic map.
Verdansk launched with Warzone during Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 and lasted through the entirety of Black Ops Cold War. There were tons of weapons to choose from across both games, but there were a few powerful guns that stood out as clear favorites.
