Archer in Honkai Star Rail: Leaked abilities, Ascension Materials & everything we know

Archer is an upcoming Honkai Star Rail character that will be added during the Fate x HSR collab, so here’s everything we know about his abilities, Eidolons, and Ascension materials.
The Honkai Star Rail x Fate collab will enable Trailblazers to add Saber and Archer to their rosters, with the latter being free during the event. With Archer being available to every player during the 3.4 update, many fans will be wondering what his skills do.
Well, fortunately, Archer’s entire kit has leaked ahead of his official release, giving us an early look at his abilities and Ascension materials. So, if you’re looking to add the Wrought Iron Hero to your team or want to know more about him, then our Archer guide has everything you need to know.
Archer release date
Archer will release on July 11, 2025, in Phase 1 of Version 3.4.
He will be claimable for free until 3.6 ends. The new 5-star isn’t the only Fate character to make their debut in HSR, as the Saber banner will also give players the chance to add the Heroic Spirit to their teams.
Rarity & element
Archer is a 5-star Quantum character who is a member of The Hunt Path. He uses his deadly ranged attacks to eliminate his enemies.
Leaked Abilities
Honey Hunter World has revealed all of Archer’s abilities and Eidolons. Like all leaks, the information in the tables below could change before release, so take it with a grain of salt. You can find the full breakdown of Archer’s kit below:
Basic Attack

Caladbolg: Fake Spiral Sword (Single-target) | Enters the “Circuit Connection” state. Deals Quantum DMG equal to 500% of Archer’s ATK to one designated enemy target. In the “Circuit Connection” state, the turn does not end after using Skill, and increases the DMG dealt by Archer’s Skill by 120%. This effect can be stacked up to 2 times, lasting until he exits the “Circuit Connection” state. After actively using Skill 5 times or when there are insufficient Skill Points, using Skill again causes him to exit the “Circuit Connection” state and ends the turn. Exits the “Circuit Connection” state after all enemies have been defeated in each wave. |

Eidolons

- Level 1 — The Unreached Dream: After using Skill 3 time(s) in a single turn, the next Skill use in the current turn will not consume Skill Points.
- Level 2 — The Unfulfilled Happiness: Increases DMG dealt by Ultimate by 120%
- Level 3 — The Untamed Will: Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
- Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.
- Level 4 — The Unsung Life: If the target of the Ultimate does not possess Quantum Weakness, Quantum Weakness will be applied during the Ultimate and reduces the target’s Quantum RES by 10% for 2 turn(s).
- Level 5 — The Nameless Watch: Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
- Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
- Level 6 — The Endless Pilgrimage: When the turn begins, immediately recovers 1 Skill Point for allies. Increases the maximum stacks for the DMG boost provided by his own Skill by 1 stacks. DMG dealt by his Skill ignores 20% of DEF.
