Another Google Pixel 8a specs sheet leaks, pointing to a battery bump

The Google Pixel 8a is a frquent visitor of the rumor mill these days. Today, we have a spec sheet to share with you. Per tipster Yogesh Brar on X, we have the major specs of the upcoming phone, along with a price and launch window.

According to his sheet, the Pixel 8a will have a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED with a bump in refresh rate – 120Hz. Inside will tick the Tensor G3 of the 8 and 8 Pro, and there will either be 128 GB or 256 GB of storage.

Camera-wise, expect the same 64 MP OIS main camera and 13 MP ultrawide of the Pixel 7a, ditto the 13MP selfie upfront.

Here’s where it gets interesting. Brar’s sheet suggests that the Pixel 8a will have ‘around’ a 4,500mAh battery – that’s a slight bump to the 7a’s 4,385mAh pack. He confirms an earlier report that the 8a will have 27W wired charging. No word on wireless charging but the 7a did offer 7.5W of it and we expect the 8a to do as well.

Finally, the Pixel 8a will launch in May, priced around $500 to $550.
