ADATA XPG PRECOG STUDIO Gaming Headset – Big Drivers, Small Price
Seriously Though, Why Would You Rickroll Yourself For A Headset Review?
ADATA’s Xtreme Performance Gear line expands with the XPG PRECOG STUDIO gaming headset. It differentiates itself from the competition by using a 4.4mm balanced connector, unique in the sea of low cost 3.5mm unbalanced cords. Don’t fret if your system lacks a 4.4mm TRRRS headphone jack, there is an included USB-C DAC and a USB-C to USB-A adapter to ensure you can still use the XPG PRECOG STUDIO. The DAC is an ESS ES9260Q DAC with a Sabre 9601K Amplifier, which along with the 50mm drivers makes the $60 price tag quite reasonable.
Overall, The FPS Review found the quality of the audio and the microphone were a bit better than expected for this price point. They are not going to compete with high end audio products, but if you are looking for an inexpensive headset you could do worse than the ADATA XPG PRECOG STUDIO.
