Adam22 says he doesn’t regret crypto “scam” despite Coffeezilla warning

No Jumper Podcast host Adam22 told Dexerto that he doesn’t regret allegedly doing a crypto pump and dump scam despite Coffeezilla calling him out for it.

Back in February, YouTube crypto investigator Coffeezilla uploaded a video where he put Adam22 on blast for launching an alleged crypto “pump and dump” despite being warned about it prior.

In the video, Coffee revealed he had a conversation with Adam to warn him that his crypto token was going to be sniped by bad actors, and said: “You shouldn’t run a coin, it’s lame and you’re gonna get scam or get scammed.”

Adam posted the memecoin anyway, but quickly deleted it after sparking backlash on social media. The podcaster spoke about the crypto token during an interview with Dexerto on June 3 and said that he doesn’t regret doing it.

Adam22 speaks out over alleged crypto scam

“Basically, someone was hounding me, telling me that they would pay me a large sum of money to do a crypto promotion on my story,” he told Dexerto. “I thought it was just a random ad deal type thing. I do ad deals all the time for like, you know, thousands of dollars.”

“Why would I not do something for hundreds of thousands of dollars? I thought nobody was going to care. Because I won’t be honest with you. I see a lot of people in my space like Quavo, Moneybagg Yo, all these other or, I don’t even know. Am I falsely putting them on? Quavo, I think Quavo did it too. Da baby.

“I’m just thinking like, well, if Da Baby who’s way more famous than me, from my perspective, if he could do this and nobody gives a fuck, why can’t I do it? So I did it and it immediately became a shit show, because it turns out that people take me at least a little bit more serious on the internet.”

He went on to explain that he has done ads for other things before, including ones that he didn’t have an expertise in like fantasy football advertisements. He would mispronounce names of popular players on purpose to garner more attention.

“I felt like everybody would understand that the meme coin thing was similar, but to be honest, like, Coffeezilla was kind of a grifter himself because he just sort of like he makes a lot of money off making content about all of these little mini, meme coin disasters. And for me, I really didn’t take it seriously at all,” Adam said.

Dexerto asked if he regretted advertising the token, and Adam made it clear that he didn’t.

“Oh no, the money felt good. I guess I regret not doing it until after the recent crypto crash,” he said.

“That really took away a lot of the profits from that. But that being said, you know, I do have people hounding me to do it more. And it almost is like, well, now that I’ve already shown that I have no level of expertise in this and that there’s no reason to trust my crypto meme token advice, maybe I should just do it like ten more times and nobody will be able to really hold it against me.”
