McDonald’s celebrates McMuffin’s 50th anniversary with new spicy breakfast sandwiches

McDonald’s will launch a new lineup of spicy breakfast sandwiches nationwide on July 8, just two days before the return of a long-awaited snack.
Throughout the year, McDonald’s makes sure to keep their menu fresh both inside the United States and out.
The company released its new McCrispy Strips back in May, and to start July, brought curly fries to the international menu at the store inside of its Chicago headquarters.
Now, they’re bringing a new item to their most popular menu – breakfast – to help celebrate the McMuffin’s 50 year anniversary.
McDonald’s set to launch spicy McMuffin
The new Spicy McMuffin lineup builds on the existing Egg McMuffin, which includes melty cheese, Canadian bacon, and a freshly cracked egg served on a toasted and buttered English muffin.
The updated version adds the company’s signature Spicy Pepper Sauce, giving the sandwich a new level of heat. The Spicy Sausage McMuffin variants offer the same sauce paired with a sausage patty, with one version including a freshly cracked egg.
This isn’t the only menu item that features the Spicy Pepper Sauce, either. McDonald’s Spicy McCrispy Chicken sandwich was the first to use it, and the upcoming Spicy variant of the Snack Wrap will use it as well.
McDonald’s confirmed that all eggs used in these sandwiches are now 100 percent cage-free in the United States. The new items will be available during regular breakfast hours, but only for a limited time.
This new breakfast release comes on July 8, just two days ahead of the return of the Snack Wrap.
