Fulcrum Acoustic Launches CC Series Constant Curvature Subcardioid Array System

Fulcrum Acoustic announced its new CC Series loudspeakers, a constant curvature subcardioid array system designed for exceptional clarity, coverage, and easy deployment. Meeting current demand for easy-to-deploy PA solutions, the Whitinsville, Massachusetts-based manufacturer designed the new CC Series starting with two full-range loudspeakers, the CC215 and CC230, which offer 100° horizontal coverage with 15° and 30° vertical dispersion. A companion CCS118 subwoofer completes the system.
Built with Fulcrum’s signature Passive Cardioid Technology, that the company pioneered since being founded in 2008 by Stephen Siegel, David Gunness, and Chris Alfiero, the new constant curvature subcardioid array system reduces low-frequency energy behind the loudspeakers using a single amplifier channel and no additional DSP or drivers.
The CC Series also features Fulcrum’s new Medusa Waveformer, which enables all modules in the array to function as a single source. This ensures smooth, consistent response across the entire coverage area. Each cabinet was designed with lightweight construction, fixed angles, and multiple rigging options to support fast, efficient deployment in a wide range of applications.
“The CC Series is a major step for Fulcrum as our first non-coaxial loudspeaker line,” says Stephen Siegel, President of Fulcrum Acoustic. “It combines the versatility of a constant curvature array with the benefits of our Passive Cardioid Technology. It stays true to what we do best by delivering compact, thoughtfully engineered solutions for real-world acoustic challenges.”
The new compact constant curvature array system delivers exceptional versatility with two 12″ full-range drivers offering 100° x 15° and 100° x 30° dispersion and a companion 18″ subwoofer, the CC series supports single-use or combined cabinets to create element arrays. Fulcrum Acoustic will release more detailed specifications at launch, but the new system will be available for design in Fulcrum One, the company’s dedicated system modeling, simulation and configuration software.
Fulcrum One latest update V1.4 added all new OBM and active acoustics mixing capabilities along with general improvements including the ability to create playback sequences and cues to control object-based mixing sources and active acoustics spaces. The software now includes updated support for Mac Sequoia and Windows 11.
