Fortnite OG Season 4 everything we know

Fortnite’s OG Season 4 is set to return soon, and for those who’d like to relive their nostalgia, here’s everything you need to know about it.
When Fortnite first brought back the OG experience in November 2023, taking players all the way back to the 2018 map, many fans were happy and nostalgic as they were finally able to play with classic POIs, mechanics, and weapons.
Since then, OG has been a recurring experience, and it’s currently one of the permanent modes anyone can enjoy, outside of the regular Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.
As the current season draws closer, you may wonder when OG Season 4 will drop. We’ve gathered all the details you need to know about it, including its release date, potential weapons, POIs, and more.
Fortnite OG Season 4 release date & downtime details
Season 4 characters dancing together, as seen in the cinematic trailer.
OG Season 4 will be released on June 8, 2025, the same time Chapter 6 of Season 4 gets released. There’s no exact time just yet. However, with the season ending at 2 PM EDT, it’s expected to be added a few hours after this, given that there’ll be maintenance.
OG Season 4 theme
Epic has been tight-lipped about what’s to come, as they usually give out teasers not long before the season ends. However, based on the original Season 4 and leaks, it’s safe to say that the next OG season will revolve around superheroes.
New OG Pass and skins

Season 4’s Battle Pass lineup is filled with interesting skins.
Originally released on May 1, 2028, this season was also known as “Brace for Impact,” and it featured cinematic trailers of Epic’s original characters.
Some of these characters would likely return for the upcoming pass. Whether that’s the iconic Zoey, Valor, or Omega, they could also get ‘remixed’ versions of their original skins, a similar treatment to Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper.

Some locations on the map were altered due to the meteor impact.
The meteor from the previous season crashing onto the island and damaging several locations marked the beginning of Season 4. The biggest piece crashed into the factory and Dusty Depot, thus creating Dusty Divot.
