All Flying Waters Paint Cage lock locations in Clair Obscur Expedition 33

In Clair Obscur Expedition 33, loot doesn’t come easy and every shine box comes with a mini-challenge, such as Paint Cages.

Paint Cages are cryptic little containers are scattered across the world, packed with rare upgrade goodies, but sealed tighter than your childhood diary. To open them, you’ll need to find their three locks and shoot them.

Here’s where you can find every Paint Cage in the Flying Waters area of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

First Paint Cage

The first Paint Cage is located as soon as you enter the Flying Waters, against a wall of corals.

Dexerto

• While facing the wall, aim to the right to spot the first lock next to some ripples.
• Then, turn to the right again and look for the second lock next to an iron cylindrical decoration.
• Finally, look slightly left to spot a fin with the last lock in it.

After opening all three locks, approach the Paint Cage to obtain 1 Chroma Elixir Shard.

Second Paint Cage

The second Paint Cage is located on a hidden path you can find after unlocking Maelle at the Mansion.

Once unlocked, follow the main path until you find Journal 68. Continue through the grim path ahead until your surroundings turn magenta again. Take a left and look for a ladder to descend. After dealing with the enemies, you’ll find the cage at the back of this area.

• The first lock is located against some cylindrical iron decoration right in front of the cage.
• While standing next to the cage, look up at the mountain surrounding it to find another lock.
• The third lock is located on one of the mines in the center of this area.

After opening all three locks, approach the Paint Cage to obtain 1 Revive Tint Shard.
