Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G and Note 40 Pro+ 5G land in India next month

This past Monday Infinix made the Note 40 Pro 5G official alongside the Note 40 Pro+ 5G at a special event in Malaysia. It was a global launch, but of course each market where Infinix is present might start sales at a different time.

In India, for example, the two devices are set to arrive in April, as you can see from the promotional image below. The poster doesn’t mention both handsets, but uses the word “series” and so it’s pretty clear that they’ll both be making it.

The phones will be sold on Flipkart and in offline stores after the launch. Unsurprisingly, Infinix is choosing to highlight the “All-Round FastCharge 2.0” tech it’s put into these models, including 20W Wireless Mag Charging, Wireless Reverse Charging, and the snap-on charging.

The Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G comes with a 6.78-inch 1080×2436 120 Hz AMOLED screen with 1,300-nit peak brightness, the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC at the helm, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a triple rear camera system (108 MP main with OIS, two 2 MP decorative sensors), a 32 MP selfie snapper with a dual-LED flash of its own, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W wired and 20W wireless charging support. It runs Android 14 with XOS 14 on top.

The Pro+ model amps up the RAM to 12GB, shrinks the battery capacity to 4,600 mAh, but takes the wired charging all the way up to 100W.
