Before the Gone Fishin’ update, cooking in LEGO Fortnite was limited to only some meals. However, now that the update has arrived in the game, players can finally access new craftable things, one of which is the Food Processor.

The Food Processor is a new cooking station that can be used to cook tasty filets, which can be made into sushi and other mouthwatering dishes later on with the Grill.

How to craft the Food Processor in LEGO Fortnite

The Food Processor recipe can be unlocked by building a Lumber Mill. Once the Lumber Mill has been placed in your base, you’ll automatically have access to the Food Processor recipe, which requires the materials below to build:

  • 8 Planks
  • 7 Bones
  • 3 Wooden Rods
  • 6 Granite

You can get Planks and Wooden Rods by processing them from Wood using the Lumber Mill. For Granite, you can either mine them from rocks or pick them up from the ground. Meanwhile, bones can be looted from skeletons that attack your base at night.

How to use the Food Processor in LEGO Fortnite

This is what it looks like when you interact with a Food Processor in LEGO Fortnite.

The Food Processor allows you to process fish into filets. To use the Food Processor, interact with it, and then drag the fish from your inventory to the empty slot. All that’s left to do is wait for the process to finish.

Once done, you can use the Grill to make some tasty dishes from the filets, such as Black and Blue Shieldfish Sushi, Smoked Fry Fish, and others, provided you have all the necessary ingredients.
